ADT Solar was the residential solar division of ADT Inc., launched after acquiring Sunpro Solar. It provided rooftop solar installations, battery storage, and smart-home energy integration across more than 20 U.S. states. Despite leveraging ADT’s strong brand, the solar business faced financial challenges and ceased operations in early 2024. ADT has since exited the solar market to focus on its core security and home automation services.
