Tongwei Solar (Tongwei Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese renewable energy and agricultural group founded in 1992 and headquartered in Chengdu. Since entering the solar industry in 2006, Tongwei has become the world’s largest producer of polysilicon and one of the top five global manufacturers of solar cells and PV modules. They operate multiple production sites with annual capacities of approximately 150 GW for cells and 90 GW for modules, and have pioneered PV + fishery integration across 56 power plants (~4.1 GW deployed).
